Ever been sipping on a cocktail and wished that you had the skills to make your own drinks? Designed for the complete novice, our Cocktail Masterclasses will have you mixing and shaking your favourite drinks in no time!

WHO ARE THE CLASSES FOR?

Designed for the complete novice, our cocktail masterclasses are perfect if you just want to learn and have some fun, private parties and birthdays, hen parties; they also work really well as a corporate function or as part of a team-building day.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE COURSE?

Your own personal mixologist will guide you through the making of three cocktails which you each guest gets to make and drink. You will receive a brief introduction and history of cocktails before getting straight down to trying your hand at making the cocktails. The masterclass is delivered with a competitive element - participants take part in a series of challenges, competitions and a quiz testing the guests on what they have learnt during the course! Prizes, provided by Hire The Barman, are awarded at the end of the masterclass.

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

Cocktail Masterclasses last around two hours. Bespoke length courses can be arranged on request.

HOW MANY PEOPLE IS THE CLASS FOR?

The minimum number needed for a masterclass to work is 10. There is no maximum number - as long as we have a venue to hold all the attendees, we can scale up our service to deliver the masterclass to any number.

WHERE ARE OUR CLASSES HELD?

AT YOUR VENUE

Hire The Barman can host a cocktail masterclass from any venue that suits you - this could be your place of work, your own home, a holiday home, hotel or hired meeting space.

The format of the masterclass is the same as described above - we send you a shopping list of all the ingredients that you are going to need to get and advise you on the glassware that you will need to arrange. If you would rather, you can leave all this to us and we will bring everything with us.

We will guide you as to the size of space that we are going to need and workspace required. You can either provide tables or similar to use during the class or we can deliver a mobile bar unit(s) for you to use. All that is left is the specialist cocktail bartending equipment - we bring all of this with us on the day!

WHAT ABOUT NON ALCOHOLIC COCKTAILS?

This is something we are asked on a regular basis - we provide a non-alcoholic version of each of the cocktails we take you through.

WE HAVE OUR OWN, BESPOKE IDEA WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO DELIVER - CAN YOU DO THIS?

Of course we can.....we can tailor our service to suit your requirements by changing the content, the cocktails, the class length etc.

CAN WE JOIN A CLASS WITH OTHER PEOPLE?
