Ever been sipping on a cocktail and wished that you had the skills to make your own drinks? Designed for the complete novice, our Cocktail Masterclasses will have you mixing and shaking your favourite drinks in no time!

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE COURSE?

PRIVATE MASTERCLASSES

Your own personal mixologist will guide you through the making of three cocktails. They will give you a brief introduction and history of cocktails and then you get straight down to trying your hand at making the cocktails - followed by the good bit - the tasting and drink of your concoctions!

CORPORATE MASTERCLASSES

The masterclasses can also work really well during a corporate function or as part of a team-building day. Bespoke courses can be delivered with a competitive element comprising of teams participating in a series of challenges, competitions and a quiz testing the guests on what they have learnt during the course! Prizes, provided by Hire The Barman, are awarded at the end of the masterclass.

WHERE ARE THE MASTERCLASSES HELD?

OPTION A - AT YOUR VENUE

Hire The Barman can host a cocktail masterclass from any venue that suits you - this could be your place of work, your own home, a holiday home, hotel or hired meeting space.

The format of the masterclass is the same as described above - we send you a shopping list of all the ingredients that you are going to need to get, tell you the glassware that you will need to arrange and advise you on the size of space that we are going to need and workspace required. All that is left is the specialist cocktail bartending equipment - we bring all of this with us on the day!

Prices start from £15 per person (minimum of 8 people)

OPTION B - AT ONE OF OUR VENUES

Hire The Barman are delighted to be able to offer masterclasses at two Central London venues:

COVENT GARDEN

The cocktail-making classes take place at Tandoori Nights Restaurant, based in the heart of Covent Garden. You will have your own private bar and classroom away from the hustle and bustle of the main restaurant so you can really enjoy the experience. With use of a fully working bar, this venue is perfect for maybe those arriving from different locations, groups that would like to continue on to another Central London location afterwards or people looking for a meal before or after the class (a discounted menu is available if you eat in the restaurant).

Prices from £35 per person (includes a buffet during the Masterclass made up of typical Indian dishes).

CHELSEA

Held at a trendy, vibrant bar in Chelsea, these cozy masterclasses are perfect for those looking for that authentic cocktail bar atmosphere. With use of a fully working bar, your barman will take you through the making of three cocktails, show you some bar tricks and make sure you have a really good, fun time - an experience to remember. As this event is run using a working bar, masterclass times are limited and restricted only to afternoons.

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

Cocktail Masterclasses last around two hours. Bespoke length courses can be arranged on request.

HOW MANY PEOPLE IS THE CLASS FOR?

The minimum number needed for a masterclass to work is 8. The maximum is 20. Bespoke packages to fit your requirements are available - please call for more details.
